OMG, finally a professional m/m romance that doesn't suck! And that actually does dialogue and scene-setting as well as interior monologue! The politics are interesting, although I cringed at the places where the actor finds validation by reading a tinhat blog -- it's exactly the kind of thing I hate in fanfiction, I don't buy it, and it pulls me badly out of the story. Major embarassment squick. But the characterization is good, I have a vid song for the book's damn nonexistent show, and the conflict and dramatic climax is really well paced -- there are enough trade-offs and losses to make the partial victories feel well-earned, which is frequently a problem in romance.
