Staten Island Noir - Patricia Smith (Editor) Growing up, I thought Staten Island was the most boring, unstoryable, unwriterly place on Earth. Given that Akashic Noir produced three anthologies for Manhattan, three for Brooklyn, and one each for Queens, the Bronx, and Long Island before getting around to the fifth borough, I'm guessing I'm not the only one.
